Dies wurde bereits in den Werktiteln ausgedrückt. Beispielsweise benannte Walter Zimmermann seine Komposition „In understanding music, the sound dies. Komposition der Entstehung einer Komposition“. Die Werke Heißenbüttels und Globokars trugen beide den Begriff ‚Diskurs‘ im Titel
